1928 Ford Track Roadster
Roadster Racing was popular at County
Fairs during the Forties.
It started when local racers took old Roadsters from junkyards and
built
race cars. At first fenders stayed on but soon thereafter fenders
came off and speed equipment was added.

1928 Ford Speedster
Pennie
suggested we make the car street-legal for a Model A event in
Gatlinburg, TN. A different seat was
made, lights added and away we went. Got
a little "damp" on the way home though!!
